Jaurèsgasse 2, 1030
This is a splendid Russian Orthodox Cathedral, with a magnificent interior of 1500m2 of icons, built between1893 and 1899 right next to the Russian embassy, with 30 loads of imported Russian subsoil underneath. The costs were largely paid by Tsar Alexander III. On the eve of the First World War, the church was closed and only after the Second World War was the building returned to its original function with extensive renovation in 2003-2008.
