AWA-Sponsored Activities Policy

Participation in AWA activities is entirely at the risk and responsibility of the participant. At no time can a participant hold the AWA or its officers liable for any loss, damage or injury during participation in an AWA activity.

 

Classes

Since many classes are limited in size, early registration and payment at the AWA office will ensure a place in the class you desire. A great deal of planning is required for each class, so your co-operation and understanding is appreciated.

To qualify for member pricing, you must have paid your annual dues. Non-members will pay an additional fee for each class.

Tours

ALL AWA tours are planned for AWA adults unless the tour is specifically designed for families and children. Any exception to the above policy is to be determined only by the Tours Chairwoman.

It is the responsibility of each attendee to contact the Tours Chairwoman to determine specific itineraries and to ensure that all necessary documents are obtained for entrance/exit of any country.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prohibit one from joining the tour at the last minute, every effort will be made to find a replacement. Only if we are able to locate a replacement will we be able to refund your money.

United Nations Women’s Guild Tours

AWA members are welcome. There may be a small surcharge.

Participants have the responsibility to hold all necessary documents for entrance/exit to any country to which a tour is planned. Participation is for adults only unless otherwise specified.
